Applied for Home equity line of credit at BOA. They promised to lend in 2 weeks. Have a credit score over 800 and an excellent income and equity in property. After taking the application, they turned around and delayed processing for 8 weeks. This money was to fund a business that is in escrow for last three months now because of Band of America's inefficiency. They tell me now that it is taking more than 8 weeks to fund home equity line of credit. If anyone out there is looking for home equity line of credit, look for other genuine banks that can atleast deliver on half the promise.
